Getting back into the swing of things

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New year, I certainly did (I even had a New Year's kiss)! It's soooo difficult getting back into the swing of things again; my break from uni seems to have flown by and now today is the official day it all starts up again, but I've almost finished the first week for D240 and we usually have two weeks for SDK228 chapters because they're long and intensive so might do that another day. I gradually started familiarising myself with my work and the assignments I have due at the end of the month earlier this week, so I slowly crept back into the routine so today's not too much of a shock. Other students seem to be feeling the same way though.

I've had another tutor change too. My original tutor for both modules has gone on leave so I have two new tutors, but my SDK228 tutor is really cool and nice. I was a bit annoyed because the tutor who marked my SDK228 TMA 01 marked me down for things I had done correctly, but because they were following different (and incorrect) information that isn't what the university suggests us students do, I missed out on more marks! I expressed this to my new tutor who totally understood how I was feeling and was very supportive and helpful in helping me work out what that other tutor was on about in her comments! When I e-mailed the other tutor for clarification, she ignored both of my e-mails! Oh well, it's water under the bridge now and I still got a good mark. Hopefully I can get the same or higher in my next assignments.
