Things are going smoothly... so far

I hope everyone had a good holiday period, mine was nice and quiet. I worked around the bank holidays but it was still nice. I was sick quite a lot; if I got over one thing, I got something else in its place. Oh well, feeling better now.

We have all completed three assignments and so far my scores are;
TMA 15 - 100% (pass or fail)
ICMA - 100% (10/10 questions)
TMA 01 - 87% (distinction)

So I'm very happy with those! I'm hoping that I can score well in TMA 2 because it's a big assignment involving data analysis, SPSS, statistics and a full report. Not looking forward to it BUT I have scheduled the whole month of January and I've broke down each stage into manageable chunks. I managed to finish this week's reading and the online material in two days; it was a bit of revision and it helped me get to grips with the statistical tests a little more. I did a quick SPSS practice following an example of theirs.

I've found that breaking down this assignment made me feel more capable and less overwhelmed and it's strange to say it, but I actually want to study sometimes because I know what I have to do and anything else I do on my one or two tasks that day is a bonus. So completing this week already puts me in good stead for the rest of the month!

It's going to get harder and harder from here, I just hope I can keep up with this module and the dreaded level 3 modules. I would hate to fall at the last hurdle. :\ Though I'm surprised at how much I have been able to follow, let alone understand so far in the module.

I sent off for DSA and now I just feel like I shouldn't have even bothered. I don't know why. I was on board but now it's out of my control, I feel like I'm wasting everyone's time I guess. :| I studied effectively on my bed the other day (I usually fall asleep) and while it's not ideal, it made me think "do I really need a fancy chair?" It's stupid of me to think really because I can't usually work well either at the dining table or on my bed. I work best in the office as it's quiet, away from distractions and my brain is now programmed to work hard in there. But both chairs I use (dining chair and office chair (cheap plastic one that I put a pillow on top of)) cause me a lot of pain after sitting for a while, which would be alleviated with a proper, supportive and cushioned office chair.
