DSA

I had my DSA assessment recently. I found it hard to think of things I had difficulty with when it comes to study, probably because I was tired at the time, but also because I seem to just push through things and get on with it. I haven't sat back and thought about where I'm struggling, especially as I get my work in on time and do okay in them. The lady was helpful and she pointed out things I hadn't thought of or possible issues I might come across in the future that I hadn't thought of. She showed me a lot of cool software and has put in for a number of programmes and a headset to use with Dragon. It was then that she pointed out that my laptop wasn't good enough to run them, so she put in for a free laptop! I thought my laptop would be good enough but it seems they offer laptops with newer processors and at least 8GB of RAM.

I had a tutorial this morning. I'd like to say it was helpful but I didn't think it was. :\ Don't get me wrong, I always appreciate tutors taking the time to do tutorials, but sometimes I wish they focused more on the assignment. They often repeat things and even if they know that all students in the group understand something, they'll still talk about it instead of moving onto something else/new and saving time.

TMA 02 is due in ten days and I've got about 700 words left. It's challenging. It's weird getting this far into the year without doing an essay, not that I'm missing them.
