Stability

Things at home and work have stabilised a bit so I feel I can focus a bit more on my studies and work on getting this module finished for the year! Our exam was cancelled so that's one less thing to stress about. I honestly don't know how I would've coped if I had to do the exam as well. Thankfully, the OU have said they're going to consider the impact of everything going on in our scores, so I'm hoping they're just a tad generous. 

I was very pleased to have received a distinction (85%) for TMA 03. I was on the verge of a meltdown with that assignment so it felt great to know my work paid off in the end. I had to basically rewrite it but I found making a plan to organise my essay worked great to visualise the narrative of the essay.

Currently working on TMA 04 which is another report, but it's qualitative and involves thematic analysis. Considering I didn't do all that great on the quantitative report for TMA 2, I'm not feeling that hopeful of getting a distinction but all I can do is try my best. If I get a distinction in this assignment, then there's a good chance I could get a distinction overall for this module. 

Unfortunately, my DSA order wasn't submitted for some reason, so I waited 6-8 weeks for nothing. I contacted the DSA people and they told me my order hadn't been put in so they're onto that now. Just a bit frustrating because I would've really benefited from the equipment. I did get a new laptop though and it's working fine. I have a strong suspicion that the one they originally gave me was second hand. This newer one just felt different compared to that first one and I've not had any errors (touch wood), so now I trust it to do my work on. 

So things are kind of coming together at the moment. I just can't wait to have some freedom over the summer. There's a lot of creative stuff I'd like to do. <3
